20 Year Anniversary Celebrations

1988  -  2008

Glenhaven was established  in 1988 with the purchase of  the first two welsh cobs - Derwen Tequila (still at Glenhaven) and Derwen Dashing Duke. This brought the number of Welsh Cobs in California to the grand total of three!!!

In 1998 Glenhaven held an Open House in Santa Ynez, California and now 10 more years have passed and in that time Glenhaven grew to such an extent that in 2000,we decided to relocated to Unionville, Virginia to a
200 acres farm.

 

In preparation for the big day, we are expecting 20 foals many of which will be weaned and available for sale.

All the stallions, broodmares, youngstock and foals will be available for your inspection. 

A number of mares and stallions will also be offered for sale.

Directions to the farm: Glenhaven is situated less than 1 mile north of Route 20 on Route 522 (Zachary Taylor Hwy, Unionville)

From the North:

1.South on route 29 towards Culpeper. Take the second exit (522 South / Commonwealth Park) Turn left at top of exit, cross back over 29 and turn right at the next traffic light. That is 522 South. Approximately 15 miles on the left. Black 3 board fence and large sign " Glenhaven Welsh Ponies & Cobs"

2. South on 95 to Fredericksburg. Take Route 3 West (towards Culpeper). Turn right at the Sheetz Gas station (watch for flashing light) onto route 20. Approximately 13 miles, turn right on 522 North (towards Culpeper). Less than 1 mile on the right. Black 3 board fence and large sign "Glenhaven Welsh Ponies & Co"bs

From the South:

1. Take route 29 North towards Culpeper. Turn right on Route 33 (towards Montpelier). Before overhead railway bridge, turn left on route 20 North towards Orange. Follow route 20 NORTH. There will be a sign, "Unionville 9 miles". Turn left at BP gas station (traffic light) onto 522 NORTH (towards Culpeper). Less than a mile on right. Black 3 board fence large sign "Glenhaven Welsh Ponies & Cobs)

2. North on 95....follow as above from Fredericksburg.
