A true Welsh pony with plenty of  bone, character, and a kind personality. He is a fantastic mover with strong hock action and powerful drive. A dished pony head with a big eye and small ears.  He has produced some remarkable hunter ponies with cross breeds and many outstanding pure welsh foals.  His foal, Glenhaven Dumpling out of Forlan Hello Dolly is a wonderful example and will be retained as a future broodmare.

In 1999 he was National High Point Champion Section A stallion. He has numerous UK achievements also. His sire, Springbourne Carraway, has been the number one rated Section A sire in the UK for more than 10 years. 3rd VPBA Foal, 2003

Bay with 4 socks and a stripe, 11.2hh. Sultan leaves an indelible mark on his offspring leaving no question as to who their sire could be. He has an exquisite head and eye and this is seen in his foals. He is broken to ride and drive. He has sired many champions and his 2 year old daughter, Glenhaven Sweet Rachael, was the 1999 American Supreme Champion under the British judge, beating all the other sections for the coveted title. At the same show a yearling son took Junior Champion Section A colt. Glenhaven Sweet Dreams, a daughter of Sultan's was also a Supreme Champion.  Sultan has an impressive show record in the United Kingdom and has won the title of Grand Champion Pony at the 1995 American Welsh Nationals. He is a popular cross on thoroughbreds to produce beautiful  ponies! He is now making his mark in the pony hunter arena.
